I was impressed not just by the quality of the work done, but also by how thorough they were. For example, they not only removed the pool cover, they also cleaned and treated it. In addition, the pool was thoroughly skimmed, swept and brushed, and the deck was also brushed down. They tested the water several times to ensure the right balance of chemicals including; metal-out, algaecide, chlorine, Ph up and alkalinity increaser. One of the technicians also noticed that my liner had “popped out” in a couple of places and then fixed the problem at no additional cost, which very much impressed me.

I have previously used companies that charge $180-$220 to open a pool. Every time I used such a company I would usually be charged for items “not included” in their quote, and I would usually spend several weeks getting the water right. With all the additional work your company does my pool already looks great, and it is certainly worth paying a bit more up front.

“After much disappointment with a pool company on Rt. 22 that we used for 3 years, we found Improved Pool Service. We ended half the summer with their weekly maintenance service. I am so glad my husband found them because our pool never looked better than this past summer. Mark, Joe, and one of their other guys were always very professional and thorough. They would backwash the pool and actually roll the hose neatly back up, something the previous company never did. After each visit they would leave a note with the amount of chemicals used, and if it was safe to swim (important when you have little ones!). They did a great job at closing. I witnessed them brushing the pool ladder clean after taking it out of the pool! They really take care of your pool like it's their own! I also appreciated the detailed invoices. With the other company we used, we would MAYBE get an invoice via email weeks after they came out. They already had your credit card on file so would charge you, but you had no idea for what, until you either called or waited for the invoice. The receptionist is also a pleasure to work with. I am very happy and will definitely be using them again in 2015! Thank you guys.. if you read this!”
